Nature teaches us that changes are part of the continuous flow of life. A certain sadness comes with knowing that the changing color of leaves we find in autumn results from death and decay, but almost by magic, autumn doesn’t feel like rotting, crumbling, and collapsing. Instead, it feels like the changes we experience in autumn lead us to new beginnings. My collection, Fall/Beginnings, finds beauty in the changing seasons.
