FLOOR

“You can’t fall off the floor.” - Paul the Apostle

When we focus on the world around us everything becomes an object of potential – the potential to add beauty or meaning to the moment. We generally equate looking down at the floor with shame, guilt, or sorrow. It can also be a sign that you are feeling deflated, depressed, or generally down. In my photo collection, “Floor,” I capture images of the ground, an object that we usually ignore. By focusing on the ground I hope to remind the viewer that we live in this remarkable world where the days, even bad ones, are all filled with wonder.
